What is Calcium Silicate Board / Fiber Cement Board?
The fiber-cement pressure board is a kind of new-type construction material. According to the industrial standards of construction materials and in the field of construction flat boards, the fiber-cement pressure board features non-asbestos and chrysotile. Currently, chrysotile fiber-cement pressure board accounts for the most proportion in domestic market, and its main materials include fabrics (serpentine asbestos),cements (portland cement),silicone powder and other additional materials. By adopting the special production technological process, the cement flat boards used for construction are produced through the procedures of slurrying, extraction (or slurry flow method ),inflating by 7000 ton press machine and four-course maintenance processes. This kind of boards have been used widely in various fields of construction industry.
Calcium silicate board/Fiber cement board is a board made by using loose short fibers such as inorganic mineral fibers or cellulose fibers as reinforcing materials, and siliceous calcium materials as the main bonding material. It is made by pulping, molding, and accelerating the curing reaction in high temperature and high pressure saturated steam to form calcium silicate cementitious material. It is a new type of building and industrial board with excellent performance, and is an ideal decorative board for ceilings and partitions.
